I have extremely thick, curly hair and I love my chi. its the best hundred dollars i ever spent. just put a little hair serum in before you straighten it and it will stay straight for days.

It dosen't have to be any 'Name Brand' Straightner. Get a Cheapy one...I have a cheapy one from Sallys, and It works perfect for me..and My hair is really thick and curly.
