i have had tha tproblem...try rubbing conditioner on it.start at the bottom %26amp; work your way up in sections...try lotion if you have that..always start low..work up.you can do all this dry.if you do it wet,it'll break it %26amp; it'll look crappy for awhile!

if its too graesy when you are done,wash it, then condition a bit %26amp; let it dry naturally.it could get floofy if you blow dry it.

Home remedy? You mean like kitchen stuff and not haircare products? Well, mayonnaise works. Comb it through the hair. After you shampoo, use a vinegar rinse--one part vinegar to 7 parts water. (or 1/8 cup vinegar, the rest of the cup, water).

But frankly, there are less expensive "cream rinses" available very cheaply. Check the dollar stores.
