Thick wavy-ish straight hair...hair products and routine?

What brands of conditioner and shampoo would be good for thick straight/wavy hair?

I use Garnier two-in-one shampoo/conditioner and Dove conditioner together. Lately, though, my hair has been kind of flat and not smooth.

Also, after I shower I put my hair in a towel and leave it like that for about 20 minutes. Then I comb, and when most of my hair is dry I brush. Is this a good routine?
