I have very coarse thick hair that is really dry and wavy/curly. I am interested Matrix Sleek and Sm

I have heard great things. But it's expensive. Is it really the worth the money?

I also have very coarse/thick/dry hair however mine is more on the straight side. Anyway, about 3 years ago I had the Matrix professional straightening procedure done on my hair (its called Opti.smooth) and I used the Matrix sleek.look shampoo and conditioner for about a year after that, it worked well with the procedure, but after it grew out, the shampoo%26amp;conditioner was okay, it was better than most shampoos/conditioners I had used but after a while it seemed to not as work as well.

Over the past few years I tried MANY expensive shampoos/conditioners that all claimed to do this or that, but none really did what they said. About a month ago I bought the Dove shampoo and conditioner for Dry/Damaged hair (because I loved the way it smelled) I used it for a few weeks and was AMAZED with it. It made my hair smoother, shinier, and even made it look healthier. I also rinse my conditioner out with cold, cold water and why my hair is still wet I put in an anti-frizz serum called Fantasia Frizz-Buster, I use about a dime size amount and put it throughout my hair and let it air dry. If i don't have time I blow dry my hair with an Ceramic blow-dryer.

I really suggest you try this Dove shampoo and conditioner, it is in the dark blue bottle and says "For more severe signs of Dry/Damaged Hair" give it a try along with the cold water rinse, and the frizz serum, after all its really cheap too!

Those sleek %26amp; smooth products can work really well. Just beware that a lot of them contain a lot of silicone or oils which can clog pores %26amp; lead to breakouts.

Pantene has a sleek and smooth line, Suave has one, it's all the same. If your hair is really coarse I suggest using a deep conditioner (Queen Helene Cholesterol or Jheri redding deep conditioner) once a month along with the "sleek" Products

I've been using it for a while now and is worth every penny. My hair is very frizzy and curly and with the sleek and smooth products makes my hair very straight and is not frizzy anymore. You won't regret it.

Any thing by Matrix, Joico and Revlon in salons is worth buying. I've used all these products and find it works great it is also important to change you shampoo's often so you hair doesn't get to used to it as it will not work as good after a long period of time. use joico's Silk and Revlon's product ask a hair dresser I can't remember the name.

It is really a good product, I use to use it. It takes about 2 weeks to see results. I had stubborn, wavy, dry, frizzy hair. Sally's beauty supply store sells the generic version that works just as well and has the same exact ingredients and it only cost $4 a bottle.
