I have REALLY thick, long hair and the best advice I can give you is to invest in some straightening cream and a great straightner.

I wouldn't recommend straightening it EVERY day as it seriously damages hair far too easily. Once or twice a week is great.

Go to a hair salon and get your hair styled. Watch how she/he straigthens your hair. Asks for tips.

Once you get the hang of it, it will take around 5-7 minutes depending on the hair length. In the beginning it can take 15+ minutes!

Also, blow dry your hair to get as straight as possible without having to use a straightner.

if you are doing it yourself its a bit hard, if you can get a hair dryer holder it would make it easier.........take the top half of your hair and clip it up out of the way, use a flat wide paddle brush pulling hair straight on the bottom do this all around until dry, start releasing hair from top follow the same procedure....when done drying get your flat iron (ceramic works better) and go through section by section until it is all perfectly straight.
