Well, not knowing your race, I would say a perm. I know for Blacks and maybe Hispanics, it straightens hair but for White people it makes it curly. Or you could just use flat irons.

you can actually make it perfectly straight(until you wash it next) with a flatiron. They work miracles, i have your type of hair, and i can make my hair look straighter and feel less thick. It even makes it look healthier. You should buy a ceramic one. Ulta sells them or you can even get a less expensive at Target or Walmart but buy ceramic. Its better to pay more though as the better ones work better. Then you wash and blowdry your hair. Then you take one inch sections starting with very small amounts of your hair and run the hot flatiron from top to bottom. your hair will be straight when you are done. It lasts until you wash it again. It is vest to use flatiron type of conditioning spray on it before you use the flatiron on it to protect it. OH and i am sure guys can use it too, just be very careful its hot. just pull your hair down straight while using it.

men can use ghd,s too there great for straighting hair loads of men use them these days
