You cannot literally thin thick hair but you can thin out it's bulk by getting a layered cut. Another way to give the illusion of thinner, more manageable hair is by using products which create a "sleek" look. My hair is horribly thick, like horse hair and both of the methods above have helped tremendously.

well you can straiten it but you will get split ends so then after that get a trim.
