I have the same problem. Try switching diffrent brands of shampoo every one or two weeks. Fungi that cause dandruffs get immune to the medication/drug added in the anti-dandruff shampoos after repeated exposure. I use Head%26amp; Shoulders. It works for me but after a long time of use, dandruff keeps coming back so I switch shampoo every other 2 weeks then go back to Head%26amp;Shoulder's again. Don't stick to one only brand.

I had long hair that went down to my knees. I had it cut and asked the lady not to cut it above the shoulders. She did. I hate it. The adjustment to extremely short hair from extremely long hair is drastic and hard to deal with. I would cut it to the point where your bra sits going across the back, in layers. Layers will help your hair look fuller (if you want that) and make it easier to style if you want to fancy up your hair. Make sure that whatever you want, you make sure the hair dresser have a drawn diagram. Rarely have I found that ANY of them will keep from going scissor happy. While you are in there, ask them to save your hair and donate it to the Locks of Love. They take human hair and make it into wigs for cancer patients.

- maybe get some natural looking highlights?

Here are some styles to go with the suggestions:

- get a bobby pin and pin your side bangs to the side of your face when you have your hair super straight; little waves in your hair; or straight-ish hair

- pin your side bangs on top of your head with super straight hair; or with big curls

- put it up in a messy bun, wearing a VERY thin headband matching your outfit.(don't do anything to the side bangs)

wash your hair with soap to stop it falling so much or use sunsilk anti-fall shampoo. the shampoo moisturizes your hair and the soap dries it out. whichever you like best, you can both get them at walmart. the shampoo is awesome but the conditioner just leaves build up, so i wouldnt reccomend the conditioner.

I have had long hair my entire life pretty much. My only fault is not getting regular trims so when I finally go in they have to cut off a lot more. So definately get regular trims which also keeps your hair healthier looking w/out split ends. Make sure to always condition your hair and when you comb it, it is best to start at the bottom and work out the tangles. Brushing your hair often is good to stimulate the scalp, and I have heard it helps hair grow faster. DO NOT DO AT HOME PERMS OR DYES because these completely ruin your hair (personal experience). and if you swim, try to wear a cap because the chlorine sucks for hair, at least it did for me.

Theres no sure fire way to get it but if it's what you want these products make my hair grow quickly...Carol's Daughter makes 2 great products. Hair Milk and Lisa's Elixir. Put just a little bit of the elixir in your palms and run your fingers through wet hair..blow dry it with a paddle brush upside down and then put just a bit of the hair milk on the ends before straightening, curling, or styling your hair...take your vitamins and drink your milk...good luck!!

I have this same problem. Towel dry it immediately after getting out of the shower in the time before you get dressed.

Once you're dressed you should definately scrunch it in paper towels as they are super absorbant.

As far as the thick issue, when you get your hair cut, ask them to thin your hair. It will give you less hair to have to deal with. Get a good deep treatment conditioner that you can use once a week or every two weeks. Also, make sure you're using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and a frizz controlling product. If you aren't already using a flat iron, that would be a good investment to get that stick straight hair that seems to be part of the emo look.

try using areally good strong conditioner, like loreal paris or pantene pro-v (I use the pantene on me..!)

I used to have the exact same problems as you (with frizzy, puffy thick hair).

Try getting lots and lots of layers .. now that doesn't mean you have to go super short, but you can start from your chin or eyes down with the layers.

Get those layers thinned out with a set of thinning shears - from your hairstylist or local drugstore, etc.

First, be sure to brush your hair before washing it to remove tangles, but then comb it afterwards to help keep the curls. Second, Redken ringlet is a fantastic product and hold my curls great. Run it through the roots of your hair to the tips and you will notice great improvement. Finally, never blow dry you hair becuase it removes moisture from you hair that helps to keep curls in place. 2 ways i know work, done them myself. the easiest way is to get a hot flat iron from walmart or beauty supply store. spray each section of hair with hairspray and then smooth with flat iron, will last until next shampooing. the other way is to get a home perm and use the solution on your hair them comb hair stick straight and sit still for 20 minutes the rinse and go to step 2 the netralizer and do the same procedure for 10 min, rinse shampoo style with blowdryer will last about 6 months.
